About Our Blog

We are followers of Christ. A family in missions. We love God and want to follow Him anywhere. To never stop running after Him. We want to love our kids well; train them to do the same. We want to see that the world around us is a better place because we were there and God was in us. We want the nations to be blessed, to know HIS name, and lift it high. To see a brighter tomorrow where there is more healing, more unity, more liberation, and more love. To see God’s kingdom come to earth.

Here is a window to our world and though it, maybe yours will be all the brighter.

Mission Statement

Disciple and Serve

We believe God gives us all a calling; a purpose in why we are here. This would be ours.

Walk with the Lost

We believe that ministry to, and discipleship of people begins before they have accepted the truth of who God is, and established Him as the Lord of their lives. This is done through personal relationships and friendship with unbelievers, that they would be blessed by the Gospel as it is lived and displayed through us as we grow towards becoming like Jesus Christ. The end hope of which is that they understand their need for Jesus to become the master of their lives and receive Him as such
Matthew 28:19

Disciple Believers

After becoming a follower of Jesus (I.e. A disciple) there are many things to be worked through and in one’s life. Such as general life choices, attitude and world view, biblical disciplines and habits, disposing of the garbage that is brought on by a life of sin, etc. We believe that it is ultimately the work of the holy spirit to transform and sanctify the life of every individual, yet God chooses to use his people to aid in this process.
It is essential for all believers to be a part of this community discipleship process, as is partaking in what it is to be the bride of Christ
Matthew 28:20

Serve Practically

While there is a very real need for the gospel to be preached and taught, We believe the Gospel is holistic and inclusive of a person’s practical life needs and livelihood. Therefore in addition to believing, living, preaching, teaching the gospel; it is important to bring the kingdom of God (that is, the abundant life that God meant us to live) into every area of our lives. Whether that is serving food or digging wells, caring for the sick or building a house, we want to be the hands and feet of Jesus to people in need.
James 2:14-17

Fight Injustice

As said before, there is more to the gospel then than just spiritual life, though that is the first and a vital step. We believe that God created all people equal and therefore the oppression of one under another in any form is against what God had intended for humanity. As christians and as God’s image bearers, we have the mandate to “loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke” (Isaiah 58:6). This is deep in our hearts and though God has not put us in a position to do this yet, it is still our aim and we seek to do so where we can.
Micah 6:8

Trust in the Lord, and do good;
    dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.
Delight yourself in the Lord,
    and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Commit your way to the Lord;
    trust in him, and he will act.
He will bring forth your righteousness as the light,
    and your justice as the noonday.

Psalm 37
